Jakarta, December 27, 2024 – Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE), Kartika Wirjoatmodjo (Wamen Tiko), made an on-site visit to the Pertamina Digital Hub, a command center designed to monitor fuel and LPG supply in real-time.
With the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Simon Aloysius Mantiri, Wamen Tiko reviewed the Pertamina Digital Hub to directly observe petrol station (SPBU) consumption trends, SPBU queues, CCTV monitoring along travel routes, and fuel tankers and vessels movement, including refinery operations management.
Wamen Tiko emphasized that the Ministry of SOE is committed to supporting Pertamina's role in ensuring energy availability ahead of the New Year 2025. “As the backbone of energy resilience, the readiness of SOEs to meet the community's fuel and LPG needs is a top priority. I appreciate the Pertamina Task Force (Satgas) for their preparedness during major religious holidays in 2024 and the upcoming New Year 2025," Wamen Tiko stated.
President Director of Pertamina, Simon Aloysius Mantiri, highlighted that the Pertamina Digital Hub operates 24/7 to monitor the public's energy supply. “During the Nataru Task Force period for 2024–2025, Pertamina personnel are also on standby in the field to ensure the smooth delivery of energy, especially fuel and LPG,” Simon explained.
In the same opportunity, Wamen Tiko appreciated the commitment and hard work of Pertamina’s management and personnel throughout 2024. “Pertamina continues to achieve milestones in supporting energy resilience and independence,” he remarked, adding that these efforts align with the government's goal of energy self-sufficiency to drive Indonesia's economic growth.
Currently, Pertamina has achieved oil and gas production of 1 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD). It contributes 69% to national oil production and 34% to natural gas output. Pertamina also otimized refineries, making Indonesia self-reliant in avtur and diesel fuel.
In the distribution sector, particularly shipping, Pertamina is expanding its fleet to secure energy supply domestically and internationally.
Pertamina is also committed to supplying natural gas to support the government’s “Free Nutritious Meals” program. In collaboration with the National Nutrition Agency, Pertamina's Gas Subholding will provide gas network infrastructure to supply energy for nutrition service units, facilitating the preparation of nutritious free meals.
"The Ministry of SOE and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources support the government’s mission to maintain national energy resilience. The Ministry also ensures the financial health of all SOEs through adherence to good corporate governance principles for sustainable operations," Wamen Tiko stated.
Similarly, Simon reaffirmed Pertamina’s commitment to achieving energy resilience and independence following President Prabowo Subianto's Asta Cita mission.
Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement. All these efforts align with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) implementation across all Pertamina’s business lines and operations.**
