Komisi Informasi Pusat: Pertamina Earns Informative Public Agency Title for State-Owned Enterprises in 2024
Jakarta, December 18, 2024 – PT Pertamina (Persero) has been awarded the title of "Informative" by the Komisi Informasi Pusat (KIP/Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia) in recognition of its commitment as a Public Agency in implementing the principles of Law Number 14 of 2008 on Public Information Disclosure.
PT Pertamina (Persero) Vice President of Corporate Communication Fadjar Djoko Santoso stated that this "Informative" achievement is a testament to the successful performance of Pertamina’s Corporate Communication function and cross-functional collaboration within the Pertamina Group, which is committed to public information transparency.
“This recognition as an informative public agency demonstrates Pertamina’s commitment to providing accessible information services to the public,” said Fadjar.
Fadjar added that Pertamina optimizes the role of the Corporate Communication function as the main Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) at the Holding level while enhancing the roles of all Implementing PPIDs in the Pertamina Group.
Pertamina’s achievement as an “Informative Public Agency” results from an assessment conducted by the Central Information Commission, a government institution directly responsible to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, continued Fadjar.
“Pertamina’s Informative achievement went through several stages over four months, with six important steps in the monitoring and evaluating public information transparency process by the KIP,” Fadjar explained.
The first stage involved a self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ) conducted from September 4 to October 5, 2024.
The second stage was the Questionnaire Evaluation (Verification) by the Central Information Commission from October 7 to October 25, 2024. The third stage included Clarification of the SAQ verification results from October 26 to November 2, 2024.
The fourth stage was Implementation Verification and Clarification, conducted from November 4 to November 9, 2024. The fifth stage was Presentation/Public Testing, held from November 12 to November 14, 2024.
The sixth stage was the Visitation phase, conducted from November 18 to November 30, 2024, with the Central Information Commission continuing to monitor and evaluate the Public Agency assessments until the announcement of the Public Information Disclosure awards.
“After undergoing a lengthy assessment process, Pertamina has once again achieved the Informative Public Agency title in 2024, with improved performance this year, making it one of the top eight State-Owned Enterprises as a Public Agency with a total score of 97.97,” said Fadjar.
Fadjar emphasized that Pertamina will continue to innovate by providing easy access to information for all Indonesians—quickly, accurately, and conveniently—while also developing an information service system to fulfill its obligations as a Public Agency.
Pertamina will continue to enhance collaboration and synergy in its educational efforts to provide accessible and beneficial information to all Indonesians.
