Banten, December 21, 2024 – The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, conducted an inspection of the Tanjung Gerem Fuel Terminal and the Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal in Banten Province on Saturday (21/12).
This inspection is part of the oversight activities for the 2024 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) Task Force readiness to ensure the smooth supply of fuel and LPG.
The visit was attended by key officials, including the Director General of Oil and Gas of ESDM, Dadan Kusdiana, the Director General of Electricity, Jisman P. Hutajulu, the Head of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas), Erika Retnowatim, the President Commissioner of Pertamina, Mochamad Iriawan, the President Director of Pertamina, Simon Aloysius Mantiri, the Logistics & Infrastructure Director of Pertamina, Alfian Nasution and the President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan.
Minister Bahlil Lahadalia emphasized energy supplies readiness to support the public in celebrating Christmas and New Year comfortably. He assured that the national LPG stock is sufficient, with an average supply of 17.12 days. Similarly, the fuel stock, including Gasoline, Kerosene, and Avtur, is secure, with an average supply of 18–20 days.
"Based on Pertamina's briefing, Alhamdulillah, our LPG is secure. Secondly, regarding our fuel supply, everything is clear. The President has emphasized that Christmas and New Year should proceed peacefully, which includes ensuring fuel availability," Bahlil said.
The President Director of Pertamina, Simon Aloysius Mantiri, explained that in addition to on-site monitoring, Pertamina oversees the situation through the Pertamina Digital Hub control center.
"Through this command center, we monitor energy supply conditions daily across Indonesia. If any issues arise, we immediately take follow-up actions," Simon stated.
Simon also confirmed that LPG supplies have been prepared to meet the demands during Christmas and New Year.
"We have increased stock levels to ensure people can celebrate Christmas and New Year without disruptions," he added.
