One Price Fuel Reaches 573 Locations: A Testament to the Government's Energy Resilience Commitment

Ambon, December 18, 2024 – Pertamina, through Pertamina Patra Niaga, in collaboration with the Ministry of ESDM and BPH Migas, has successfully launched 31 new locations for the One Price Fuel program. With the addition of these new locations, the total number of operational One Price Fuel points has reached 573, meeting the government's target.

The 31 new locations are across the following clusters: Sumatra and Kalimantan (6 locations), Nusa Tenggara–Sulawesi (6 locations), Maluku (9 locations), and Papua (10 locations). The inauguration ceremony was held on Wednesday (18/12) at four sites: Kupang Regency in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Lima Puluh Kota Regency in West Sumatra, Fakfak Regency in West Papua, and Ambon City in Maluku. The main inauguration event took place at the Wayame Integrated Terminal in Ambon, attended by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia; President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan; and Head of BPH Migas, Erika Retnowati.

In his statement, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, emphasized that this milestone fulfills the government’s commitment since 2017 to balance energy access by providing the same fuel prices across Indonesia, including in remote, frontier and underdeveloped areas (commonly referred to as the 3T regions).

“Today, we are inaugurating 31 One Price Fuel locations. It ensures that the subsidized fuel price in urban areas is the same as in remote areas. It is part of the government’s efforts to guarantee fuel availability so that economic activities can run smoothly, economic circulation can occur, and fuel accessibility is secured,” Bahlil said.

Meanwhile, the President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan, highlighted that achieving 573 One Price Fuel locations was possible through close collaboration with various parties.

“This success is a result of the collaboration between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, BPH Migas, local governments, and other stakeholders. We are committed to ensuring a sustainable fuel supply at these 573 locations by maintaining effective coordination between fuel terminals, transporters, and distributors to strengthen energy distribution,” Riva explained. He added that Pertamina Patra Niaga would continuously monitor fuel availability at each location and perform regular maintenance on distribution infrastructure to ensure that communities, especially in island regions, can easily access energy.

The One Price Fuel program is the government’s tangible representation in ensuring energy resilience by providing equitable and affordable energy access to all Indonesian people. This achievement is expected to serve as a significant milestone in driving economic growth.

The Head of BPH Migas, Erika Retnowati, stated that since 2017, BPH Migas has consistently overseen the One Price Fuel implementation to meet the targeted goals. She expressed her gratitude to all parties involved.

“With the establishment of these ‘One Price Fuel’ distributors and the successful event today, we extend our gratitude to Pertamina and everyone involved. We hope the operation of this program will provide maximum benefits to the community,” Erika said.

Separately, the VP of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, hoped the One Price Fuel program expansion would help balance Indonesia’s economy. “With energy availability and a uniform price, this program is expected to support regional economic equalization and growth,” Fadjar said.

Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement. All these efforts align with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) implementation across all Pertamina’s business lines and operations.**
