Prepared for New Year’s Eve: Commissioner and President Director of Pertamina Visit the Integrated Terminal in Plumpang

Jakarta, December 31, 2024 – On the eve of the 2024–2025 New Year celebrations, President Commissioner of Pertamina, Mochamad Iriawan, and President Director of Pertamina, Simon Aloysius Mantiri, visited the Jakarta Integrated Terminal in Plumpang, Tanjung Priok today (31/12). The visit aimed to assess Pertamina’s operational readiness from upstream to downstream in preparation for the New Year’s Eve festivities.  

The Jakarta Integrated Terminal in Plumpang is a critical energy infrastructure comprising the Plumpang Fuel Terminal, the Tanjung Priok Fuel Terminal, and the Tanjung Priok LPG Terminal. These facilities are integrated to ensure seamless energy distribution to Jakarta, Banten, and West Java, serving over 1,000 gas stations.  

In his presentation to commissioners and directors of Pertamina, the President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga (Subholding Commercial & Trading), Riva Siahaan, highlighted the increase in energy consumption during the Nataru (Christmas and New Year) task force operations.  

“LPG consumption has risen by approximately 1.8%, Pertamax by 10%, while Pertalite consumption remains within the quota. The increased demand is anticipated, and all operations are running smoothly and securely,” Riva explained.  

President Director of Pertamina, Simon Aloysius Mantiri, emphasized that the successful 2024/2025 Nataru Task Force was because of the relentless dedication of Pertamina’s personnel.  

“We want to ensure everything runs smoothly and all on-ground operations remain seamless. Pertamina’s personnel are maintaining high morale to meet the community’s energy needs so that people can celebrate Christmas and New Year peacefully,” Simon stated.  

He also reminded everyone to prioritize the HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) culture in their work. “Let us uphold the HSSE culture by being compliant, caring, and ready to intervene when necessary. Above all, we must carry out our tasks following proper procedures,” he added.  

Acknowledging the stable stock and distribution conditions, the President Commissioner of Pertamina, Mochamad Iriawan, expressed profound gratitude to all Pertamina personnel managing the 2024/2025 Nataru Task Force operations.  

“I am incredibly proud of all Pertamina personnel who have worked with their hearts. This level of dedication goes beyond totality and responsibility. I deeply appreciate every Pertamina staff member,” Iriawan remarked.  

The visit was also attended by the Director of Logistics & Infrastructure of Pertamina, Alfian Nasution, and the Corporate Secretary, Brahmantya S. Poerwadi.
