President Director of Pertamina Applauds Pertamina’s Fostered MSMEs at Pertamina Energizing You Festival - MotoGP Mandalika

Lombok, September 29, 2024 – The President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) supports the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2024 event, including Pertamina’s fostered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at the Pertamina Energizing You Festival.

Amid the scorching weather of Mandalika, Lombok, the President Director of Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, took the time to visit the booths of Pertamina’s fostered MSMEs, as well as the Pertamina Patra Niaga and Perusahaan Gas Negara booths, which provided product and service information to visitors of this international motorcycle racing event.

"It was an honor for Mrs. Nicke to stop by the Pertamina Energizing You Festival. She visited the booths of Pertamina's MSME partners, as well as the Pertamina booth, including the Official Merchandise booth," explained the Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, who accompanied the visit at the Pertamina Energizing You Festival, Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, on Saturday (28/9).

Fadjar added that this year, Pertamina involved 60 MSMEs, an increase from 2023. In 2023, the 50 MSMEs achieved a turnover of up to IDR 700 billion during the three-day event.

"This year, we hope these local products’ sales will increase and gain recognition from international tourists. Several MSME partners have also received orders from abroad. Thus, we hope that the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia will help promote MSMEs’ growth," he explained.

Fadjar further emphasized that Pertamina's support in its third year aligns with its role as a state-owned energy company to drive the community’s economy. Economic growth, especially in the tourism and trade sectors, stimulates the economic cycle. Pertamina hopes that this role, along with the empowerment of the Lombok community through MSMEs, will create a similar, if not greater, multiplier effect than in previous years.

Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement. All these efforts align with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) implementation across all Pertamina's business lines and operations.**
