Race Day! Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Announces Targets and Appreciation for Pertamina

Lombok, 29 September 2024 – Today is a historic day for Pertamina. For the first time, the MotoGP team supported by this state-owned energy company competes in a home race. This afternoon, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will race in the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2024.

Before competing, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team shared their goals and expressed their appreciation for the support provided by Pertamina through PT Pertamina Lubricants as the main sponsor with their Pertamina Enduro product. It was conveyed during a meet and greet with the media at the Paddock Area, Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit (27/09).

Alessio Salucci, the Team Director of Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, stated that racing at Pertamina is crucial, as Indonesia is the home race for the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team. He hopes with his two riders, Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio di Giannantonio, the team can achieve a podium finish.

"In Indonesia, we have many fans. Therefore, I hope that at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, we can get a good result. In the previous race, both our riders performed quite well, and I hope we can reach the podium in Mandalika," Alessio said.

In addition to sharing the team's targets, the management of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team also expressed their appreciation for Pertamina's full support, which was directly conveyed by Pablo Nieto, Team Manager of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team.

"We would like to thank Pertamina for the support given. We are one big family. Pertamina's support is significant to us. With the support provided, we will continue to strive, work hard, and do our best to achieve the desired targets," said Pablo.

Dwi Puja Ariestya, the Director of Sales & Marketing of Pertamina Lubricants, mentioned that today's race is even more special as the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team is racing with a new livery featuring Indonesia’s signature red and white colors.

"This year is indeed special for MotoGP fans in Indonesia because, for the first time, a team with a local lubricant brand as the main sponsor will compete in their home race, wearing livery and racing suits designed with Indonesia’s colors," said Dwi.

Fadjar Djoko Santoso, VP of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, also expressed his hopes for the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2024 success. This is the third year of the international race supported by Pertamina, and he hopes today’s race runs smoothly and successfully.
