Jakarta, February 25, 2022 - Pertamina appreciates Pertiwi's innovative support for the company to become a world-class energy company. Pertamina Pertiwi has shown its role with various innovations to realize the aspirations of shareholders to reach a market value of US$ 100 billion and a Global Energy Champion by 2024.

Fajriyah Usman, Vice President of Pertamina Corporate Communication, said Pertamina Pertiwi is a Women's Community formed on April 21, 2021, to prepare strong, inspiring, authoritative, and independent leaders.

"Pertamina Pertiwi has shown its contribution in supporting Pertamina's business sustainability and future energy. It includes the energy transition to environmentally friendly clean energy, and with 73 innovation programs this year delivered by Pertamina workers to support women in the company, community, and globally through the 2022 Pertiwi Award," Fajriyah said.

According to Fajriyah, the innovations of Pertamina Perwira were seen in the 2022 Pertiwi Award event, which was held some time ago. This Pertiwi Award creates innovative works, including Pertiwi Sustainability Agent, Pertiwi Innovator, and Pertiwi Go Global.

"The Pertiwi Awards, an appreciation from the company was opened by Nicke Widyawati, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero)for Pertamina workers to encourage innovations and the results that will support Pertamina's business sustainability and future energy to contribute to the country and the world," Fajriyah added.

According to Fajriyah, the Pertiwi Award is both attended by female employees or Pertiwi and male employees to support women's empowerment. In other words, Pertamina Perwira is an important part of supporting women's empowerment.

The best Pertiwi is given the opportunity to present their innovative work to explore experiences, program objectives, and the impact on the company and the community. They tell the story of the implementation in the company, which increased the company's reputation and performance, as well as an integrated form of Pertamina's ESG implementation.

Nicke Widyawati, President Director of Pertamina, expressed her appreciation to the winners of the Pertiwi Awards. According to Nicke, the event encourages innovative work emergence on sustainable energy management from Pertamina officers aligned with Pertamina's ESG implementation.
