Pertamina Reports Revenue of USD 84.89 billion in 2022, 09 June 2023

As of 6th June 2023, Pertamina has achieved its net profit since its establishment. The company recorded a net profit of around USD 3.81 billion or IDR 56.6 trillion, marking an 86% increase compared to the previous year's net profit of USD 2.05 billion or IDR 29.3 trillion in 2021.
Pertamina's revenue has also surged, reaching USD 84.89 billion or approximately IDR 1,262 trillion in 2022, marking a significant increase of 48% compared to the previous year's revenue of USD 57.5 billion.
“Pertamina's revenue growth is not only supported by the increase in oil and gas lifting, production, and product sales. The company has also achieved significant progress in optimizing costs. Through effective cost optimization measures implemented between 2021 and 2022, Pertamina has realized substantial savings amounting to USD 3,273 million”, said Nicke Widyawati, The President Director of Pertamina.
In line with the revenue growth, Pertamina's consolidated EBITDA also increased to USD 13.59 billion, representing a 47% rise compared to the USD 9.26 billion recorded in 2021.
The financial performance is parallel to the sustainability performance, which has also yielded positive performance. Pertamina has successfully secured the 2nd ranked globally in the Integrated Oil & Gas sub-industry by Sustainalytics, with an ESG score of 22.1 in October 2022. This score represents an improvement from the previous score of 28.1.
With a significant improvement in financial and operational performance throughout 2022, Pertamina has reaffirmed its position as the only Indonesian company to be included in the Fortune Global 500 with being ranked at 223, improved from its previous position at 287.
