PT Pertamina (Persero) or PERTAMINA through the MSE Funding Program wants to provide energy that can drive the wheels of the economy. Energy that becomes fuel, as well as energy that produces sustainable growth by implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) in all its operational areas.
This ESG-based program is embodied in 8 excellent programs to support Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) to be independent. MSEs who are Pertamina's fostered partners can quickly adapt to Covid-19 by maximizing digital technology. In fact, many of Pertamina's fostered partners are going global, so that their products can entrance the export market.
PERTAMINA held a virtual MSE exhibition, PERTAMINA SMEXPO 2020. The exhibition displayed about 1,780 products from 100 MSE fostered partners, and achieved MURI Award as an online MSE exhibition with the most number of products. The virtual exhibition has recorded 32,472 domestic and abroad visitors from 38 countries, with the most visitors from Indonesia, followed by the United States (483 visitors), Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Netherlands, and more countries from Europe, Asia, America, and Africa.
The second program run by Pertamina to support MSEs to upgrading is conducting various digital trainings. Total of 209 trainings have been held by Pertamina, which were attended by 11,955 MSEs, and 33 exhibitions which were attended by 292 MSEs. This has encouraged 795 MSEs to be upskilled with 621 MSEs receiving certificates and business licenses, 254 MSEs getting an increase in profit and 61 MSEs succeed at going Global.
Third, Pertamina carry out the MSE Academy Fast Track Program which is carried out in the Go Modern, Go Digital, Go Online and Go Global classes. Total of 162 MSEs were declared to have passed the 2020 MSE Academy Program from 290 MSEs participating in the Academy.
Pertamina also runs the Covid Adaptive MSE program to be responsive and utilize MSE products for Pertamina's assistance in dealing with Covid-19. Through this fourth program, Pertamina has sold products from 596 COVID-19 adaptive MSEs supported by Pertamina worth Rp17.15 billion.
Fifth program, Pertamina maximizes 30 Pertamina SOE houses spread across various regions in Indonesia, by conducting online training for 179 times, which was attended by 8,633 MSEs registered at rumah-bumn.id.
Sixth Program, Pertamina provides revolving funds for MSEs in the tourism sector, especially in 5 Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP). Facilitated by the Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Affairs, Pertamina has distributed partnership program funds of Rp 21.66 billion for 237 MSEs in the tourism sector.
The Pinky Movement Program is the seventh program carries out by Pertamina to help 3 Kg LPG outlets who want to switch to sell Non-Subsidized LPG or Bright Gas. Pertamina has distributed revolving funds of Rp 48.38 billion to 467 outlets and 146 small businesses.
This program received an award from the Ministry of SOEs as the Best of The Best for the Sustainability Category and the main winner of the Gold Predicate in the CSV category at the BUMN Corporate Communication and Sustainability Summit (BCOMSS) 2021 and the Top 10 Millennials Innovation Summit at the Ministry of SOEs in 2020.
The eighth program that the MSEs Program presents to its fostered partners is by providing Pertamina SME1000, a catalog of the best 1000 fostered partners based on Pertamina's curation results. As well as publication assistance on social media and local and national mass media about inspirational, unique stories, achievements, and other things about MSEs.
Pertamina also supports the achievement of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) as part of environmental and social responsibility, in order to realize economic benefits in the community.
